The Tumwater Pipeline Trail is a short, easy walk beside the Wenatchee River just west of Leavenworth. The route follows part of an old water pipeline once used to power trains through the Cascade Tunnel, so it mixes river scenery with a bit of railway history.
It is a good choice when you want a low-effort hike without driving deep into Icicle Creek Canyon. The river, canyon walls, and old pipeline traces make it more interesting than a simple riverside stroll.
