Olympia eats like a small Pacific Northwest college town with a serious food culture. Fresh seafood from Puget Sound (oysters from the Olympia and Totten inlets, salmon, Dungeness crab, geoduck) dominates the better restaurants, but the everyday scene runs to good Mexican, Vietnamese, Thai, vegetarian and craft brewpubs. The Olympia Farmers Market food stalls are an excellent cheap lunch.
