Clinkerdagger has been a Spokane institution since 1974, a steakhouse and seafood restaurant perched above the Spokane River in a historic brick building. The dining room looks directly onto the falls, and the views at sunset are genuinely spectacular. The menu leans on prime rib, fresh fish, and Pacific Northwest classics like Dungeness crab.
The place is unabashedly old-school in the best sense — thick tablecloths, proper service, portions that don't apologize. It fills up on weekends, particularly for the early dinner window when the falls catch the western light. Reserve ahead if you want a window table.
