Getting There

Spokane International Airport (GEG) is about 10 km west of downtown and serves direct flights from Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Denver, Chicago, and several other US cities. Delta, Alaska, United, and Southwest all fly here. A taxi or rideshare from the airport takes about 20 minutes; there is also a STA bus connection to downtown.

By road, Spokane sits at the intersection of Interstate 90 (east-west) and US-395 (north-south). The drive from Seattle takes about 5 hours over the Cascades via I-90. Amtrak's Empire Builder connects Spokane to Seattle (7 hours) and to Chicago (46 hours eastbound) daily, stopping at the historic Spokane Intermodal Center on Havermale Island in Riverfront Park.
