Gander and Ryegrass is one of the better farm-to-table restaurants in downtown Spokane, with a menu that changes seasonally around eastern Washington ingredients. The kitchen takes Pacific Northwest produce seriously — wild mushrooms, Palouse lentils, Columbia River salmon — and the wine list focuses on Washington and Oregon bottles. The space is modern and relatively quiet by downtown standards.
The lunch menu is more casual and considerably cheaper than dinner; the lunch flatbreads and grain bowls are among the best quick meals in the downtown core. The restaurant is a short walk from Riverfront Park.
