WVU Football at Milan Puskar Stadium

WVU Mountaineers football is not just a sporting event — it is what happens to Morgantown on fall Saturdays. The city's population of 33,000 gets a stadium that seats over 60,000, and on game days the streets fill with tailgaters, gold-and-blue flags, and the smell of charcoal from dawn. The whole city is, functionally, a tailgate.

Milan Puskar Stadium sits on the Evansdale campus, accessible via the PRT. The atmosphere inside is loud and partisan in the way that only college football gets — the students fill the south end zone and make a sustained wall of noise. Even if you have no connection to West Virginia or American football, the sheer scale of the collective ritual is something to see.

Tickets for non-marquee games are often available at face value on game day. Check the WVU Athletics schedule; home games run September through November.
