Weston's sights are compact enough for a half day, but varied enough to justify the stop. The asylum is the clear headline: book a guided tour if you want the building to make sense, because the size and history are hard to read from the outside.
After that, stay near downtown for the glass museum and historic storefronts, or drive south to Stonewall Jackson Lake when you want air, water, and a break from heavy history.
