The Riverview Terrace Restaurant, sometimes called the Spring Green Restaurant, is a low circular pavilion of stone and copper designed by Frank Lloyd Wright in 1953 on a bluff overlooking the Wisconsin River. Wright did not live to see it built — construction did not begin until 1965, six years after his death, with the work overseen by his apprentices at Taliesin.
The building now functions as the visitor centre, café and bookshop for the Taliesin estate, and is the starting point for all guided tours. The cantilevered terrace gives one of the best views of the Wisconsin River in the area; the food is straightforward American fare.
