Edificio Kavanagh is one of Buenos Aires' great early skyscrapers, completed in the 1930s near Plaza San Martin. Its stepped Art Deco massing made it a landmark of the city skyline, and the building is also wrapped in a favourite local story about family rivalry and blocked views.
