Resistencia International Airport (ICAO: SARE), 6km west of the centre, has daily flights from Buenos Aires (Aerolíneas Argentinas) and occasional services to Córdoba. The flight from Buenos Aires takes about an hour and a half.
By bus, Resistencia is around 14 hours from Buenos Aires, four hours from Posadas, and 11 hours from Salta — long but comfortable on overnight sleeper services. The bus terminal is on the western edge of town. Road connections to neighbouring Corrientes (across the Belgrano Bridge) are constant. From Asunción in Paraguay, take a bus south via Clorinda; the journey is around five hours including the border.
