Salta Rafting have run the Río Juramento since 1997, which makes them the pioneers of white water in northern Argentina. The river is a couple of hours south of the city, below the Cabra Corral dam, and the run is ten grade III rapids and five grade II through a red-walled canyon — a proper rafting trip rather than a float.
They pair the rafting with trekking, mountain biking, quad bikes and horse riding, so it makes a full day out of the city, and they add kayaking for anyone who wants to paddle their own.
They publish no base address; the pin marks the Río Juramento, where the trips run. Book by WhatsApp — transport from Salta is usually included.
