Nant-y-fall Waterfalls

A chain of seven small waterfalls near Trevelin, on a single forest walking trail

A series of seven waterfalls on the same Welsh-named tributary stream south of Trevelin, all linked by a single well-marked trail through native lenga and nire forest. The full loop is about three hours; shorter versions reach the first or third cascade only.

The walk passes through old-growth Patagonian beech, with several viewing platforms over the falls and a final fenced viewpoint over the largest cascade. The trailhead has a small parking area and a basic refreshment kiosk. A modest entrance fee is charged. Best in spring (October–December) when the snowmelt is at its peak; the falls are reduced to trickles by late summer.
