La Islita is a small, relaxed beach area reached on foot from town by continuing beyond Mirador Bandurrias. The route gives you forest, lake views, and a quiet place to sit by the water away from the central waterfront.
It is best in good weather and with enough time not to rush the return. The appeal is simple: a low-effort Patagonian walk with a swim or picnic at the end.
