Onashaga is one of the five operators on the Ushuaia municipality's official list of penguin-colony providers. Its navigation leaves daily in the afternoon and takes about five hours along the Beagle Channel to Isla Martillo, where Magellanic penguins nest alongside a handful of gentoos — one of very few mixed colonies anywhere.
