Manauara, in the Adrianópolis neighbourhood, is the newest and most upmarket of the city's malls. Three floors of brand-name shops sit beneath a glass-roofed central atrium, with a long curved bar of restaurants stretching the length of the top floor. The mix skews towards Brazilian fashion brands and international cosmetics; the food court is one of the better ones in town for a mid-shopping break.
The cinema has a couple of premium screens with reclining seats — a useful refuge during a wet afternoon. Easy to combine with a meal in the surrounding neighbourhood.
