Studio 5 is a riverside mall in the Distrito Industrial, originally built around the Studio 5 concert hall — for years the city's main venue for large pop and rock shows. The mall itself has a cinema, food court, and a moderate range of shops, but it is most useful for travellers as a concert venue: tour dates for Brazilian artists almost always include Studio 5.
The location, away from the busy commercial avenues, makes for a less hectic visit than the larger malls — and views across the river compensate for the smaller retail selection.
