Lab Club is the electronic counterweight to the rock bars a few doors down — a low-ceilinged Rua Augusta basement built for techno and house, with a serious sound system and a crowd that comes to dance rather than pose. Sets run deep into the morning, and the line-ups pull in both local DJs and visiting names.
It belongs to the after-midnight side of Baixo Augusta, when the bars empty out and the clubs fill up.
