Anexo is one of the better bars on Rua das Pedras, with an open terrace that fills up from early evening and stays busy until late. The cocktail list is serious for a beach town: the caipirinhas are made with premium cachaça from the interior of Brazil, and the bartenders take a reasonable amount of pride in their work. Food is available — grilled meats, small plates — but the bar is the real draw.
The terrace is positioned at a good point on the street for watching the evening crowd go by. The music is live on most nights in high season, usually forró or MPB (Brazilian popular music). Prices are higher than the simpler barracas on the beach but fair for what you get.
