Búzios rewards those who stay more than a day or two. The peninsula has distinct zones: the town centre with its cobblestone streets and colonial church, the sheltered eastern beaches suited to swimming and snorkelling, and the ocean-facing southern beaches for surf and solitude. A schooner trip around the peninsula is one of the classic ways to see the beaches you could not otherwise reach.
