This small museum brings together works connected with Aleijadinho, the great sculptor and architect of colonial Minas Gerais. Many of his best-known pieces are still in Ouro Preto's churches, but the museum adds useful context and includes several striking devotional works, including a lifelike bust of Saint Francis of Paola.
