Vinícola Aurora is one of Bento Gonçalves' most accessible wine stops because it sits close to the centre rather than out in the valley. It is a large cooperative, so the visit is less intimate than a small family estate, but it gives a clear look at the scale of wine and grape-juice production in the region.
Use it as a first stop if you arrive without a car or have only a short time in town. For landscape and a slower meal, continue to Vale dos Vinhedos or Caminhos de Pedra.
