Passeio Publico is Curitiba's old city park, opened in the nineteenth century and still one of the easiest green pauses in the centre. It has ponds, bridges, mature trees, and the slightly nostalgic feel of a public garden that has been used by generations of locals.
Do not expect the design punch of the Botanical Garden or the drama of the quarry parks. This is a gentler stop, good for cooling down between central sights and for seeing an older, less curated side of Curitiba's famous park culture.
