Iglesia de Guayacán is one of Coquimbo's strangest and most charming historic buildings: a metal church in the old mining-and-port district of Guayacán. It reflects the industrial optimism of the 19th century more than the adobe-and-stone tradition of northern Chile.
The church is a small stop, but a memorable one. Pair it with La Herradura or the southern side of the bay.
