A legendary Barranquilla institution — once a gathering place for Gabriel García Márquez, Alejandro Obregón, and the city's mid-20th-century intellectual and artistic circle. Today it operates as a restaurant and bar serving traditional Colombian Caribbean food: fresh fish, sancocho de pescado, and fried plantain. The walls are hung with artwork donated by the painters who used to drink here, and the atmosphere retains something of that bohemian past. Calle 43 No. 56-30.
