Quito is where the country is sold. Cotopaxi and Quilotoa go out as day trips, the Galápagos boats are brokered from offices in La Mariscal, and the jungle lodges in the east take their bookings here rather than at the lodge.
That means the operators below cover far more ground than the city. Several of them are the booking office for something that happens six hours away.
