Calle de la Ronda is one of Quito's most atmospheric restored lanes, a cobbled street just south of Plaza Santo Domingo in the Historic Centre. Local residents helped bring it back to life, and its small patios, galleries, workshops, cafes, and weekend cultural events make it feel more intimate than the grander colonial streets nearby.
Go in the late afternoon, when more doors are open and the light softens on the old facades.
