Chilli Heaven

Chilli Heaven is a small restaurant popular with visiting trekkers who want something other than Peruvian staples after several days on the trail. The menu runs to curries, burgers, and sandwiches alongside local dishes, and the portions are generous. The mountain views from the upper terrace, visible on clear evenings, make it a good place to decompress after a long day.

The kitchen handles both Peruvian standards — ceviche, lomo saltado, trucha a la plancha — and international comfort food competently. Prices are reasonable by Huaraz standards. It fills up quickly on weekends and during peak trekking season (May to September), so arrive early or expect a wait.
