Not a tour agency but a non-profit working with women's weaving co-operatives in the Patacancha valley above Ollantaytambo. The visits are the co-operatives' own income: a day learning to spin and dye with plants and cochineal, an Andean overnight in a family home, an earth-oven pachamanca lunch, cooking and Quechua classes.
This is the antidote to the weaving demonstrations laid on for coach parties in the Sacred Valley — the money goes to the weavers, and the day runs at their pace.
