A small neighbourhood church on the north side of the centre, built in the seventeenth century in the same plain colonial style as the rest of Piura's religious architecture. The single nave holds a few colonial-era paintings of saints and a heavily restored gilded altar.
San Sebastián is patron saint of Piura, and on his feast day in January the church is the focus of a procession through the streets that draws much of the city. Outside that one day, it is among the quietest of the historic churches.
