Museo Ralli

Free modern art museum in Beverly Hills with a strong Latin American collection.

Museo Ralli is Punta del Este's best serious art stop, set away from the beach strip in the leafy Beverly Hills neighbourhood. The building was designed as a museum rather than adapted from a villa, with bright galleries, patios, and sculpture spaces that feel calm after the resort traffic closer to the peninsula.

The collection is strongest on modern and contemporary Latin American art, with European works mixed in, and admission has traditionally been free. It is worth the taxi or bike ride if you want a quieter cultural hour between the beaches, Casapueblo, and the harbour, especially on a windy day when the coast is less inviting.
