Biskra's appeal is split between the city itself — its old mosque, hammams, market, and palm groves — and the remarkable landscapes immediately outside it: the gorges of El Kantara to the north, the canyon at M'Chounech to the south, and the long oasis road through the Ziban date-palm belt. Allow at least two full days if you want to see both.
