One of the few sit-down restaurants in Soyo, Beira Mar serves grilled fish and standard Angolan dishes. The fish, often caught locally, is the best thing on the menu — ask what arrived fresh that day. Chicken and rice are reliable fallbacks. Service can be slow and the surroundings are basic, but by Soyo's standards this is the acceptable restaurant that the town is known to have. Evening is the busiest time, when oil workers and the occasional visitor fill the small dining room.
