A long-standing maquis (open-air bar/grill) southwest of the central district, beloved of taxi drivers and journalists. The set-up is the standard one — plastic chairs, plastic tables, fluorescent lights, a charcoal grill out the back — but the chicken and brochettes are particularly good and the atmosphere is friendly.
A beer and a plate of chicken with sauce will run you about 3,000 CFA. Stay later than 9pm and you'll start to hear the cassettes get more cheerfully Burkinabé.
