There are no bars or cafes in the village. Bring plenty of water — the heat in southern Burkina Faso can be intense, especially between February and May. Dolo, a traditional millet beer brewed by local women, is the customary drink in Kassena communities and may be available in the village context; it is worth trying if offered.
