The chief's palace sits at the centre of the village and is the most elaborately decorated compound in Tiébélé. The guided visit always includes the royal court, where the painted designs are particularly intricate, dense, and well-maintained. The layering of motifs here reflects the court's prestige and its role as the ceremonial heart of the community. It is the showpiece of the village and usually the most photographed part of the tour — though visitors are expected to follow the guide's instructions about where photography is permitted.
