Getting around Dokki is easy by taxi — cabs are plentiful on the main streets throughout the day. The two main arteries are Mohy El-Deen Abo El-Ezz Street and Tahrir Street, which intersect at an underground metro station. A second metro station sits about 2 km further along Tahrir Street. Other useful streets include Dokki Street, Messaha Street, Nadi Al-Said Street, and Giza Street (also known as Charles de Gaulle Street).
