Dokki is not a sightseeing destination in the conventional sense — most visitors use it as a base for reaching central Cairo's major monuments. But the neighbourhood itself has a few genuine draws: an extraordinary collection of French Impressionism in a Nile-view villa, the strange and fascinating Agricultural Museum, and the Orman botanical garden, one of the greenest spaces in Greater Cairo.
