A small Coptic Orthodox monastery tucked into the desert behind Medinat Habu, on the far side of the West Bank from the Valley of the Kings. The site includes a church and rock-cut catacombs. It sees few tourists and feels genuinely off the beaten path — best reached by bicycle.
