A Kumasi institution for travellers and resident expats. Vic Baboo's has been turning out a long bilingual menu of curries, Chinese stir-fries, milkshakes, and Ghanaian standards for decades. The food is honest rather than refined and the portions are large.
The dining room is air-conditioned and dim — a relief after the heat of the Adum streets — and the staff are practised at dealing with newcomers. A solid first lunch when you land in town and do not yet know where else to eat.
