One of Kenya's most atmospheric dining settings: a natural coral cave that opens to the night sky, set right on Diani Beach. The cave has been used as a restaurant for decades and is a longstanding fixture of Diani's dining scene. Tables are set on the cave floor, lit by lanterns, with the sound of the ocean close by.
The menu is focused on seafood — grilled lobster, prawns, crab, and fresh fish — with a supporting cast of steaks and pasta. It is unambiguously a special-occasion place, priced accordingly. Reservations are strongly advised, especially during the high season. The walk-in path after dark along the beach edge can be disorienting; most people arrive from the main Diani road.
