Dining options in Djenné are limited. On market days you can buy food at the stalls — grilled fish, rice, and brochettes — but options are sparse the rest of the week. Most visitors eat at their guesthouse or at one of a few small restaurants.
Chez Baba, in a courtyard near the Petit Marché, is friendly and serves simple plates of rice and chicken. Le Campement, the old colonial-era rest house, also serves meals but you may need to order in advance.
