The Ensemble Artisanal is the government-run crafts cooperative on the main road through town, housed in a low whitewashed building set around a courtyard. The workshops produce the carpets, blankets, and engraved silverware for which Azrou is known, and customers can watch the weavers at work before buying.
Prices are fixed and printed on the labels — no bargaining, no commission — which makes this the easiest place to learn what a fair price looks like before stepping into the souk. The range is narrower than the Tuesday market but the quality is consistent, and they will ship larger pieces overseas.
