☰Sidi Mohammed ben Abdallah Museum

A small ethnographic museum in a nineteenth-century pasha's house, devoted to the crafts and music of the Essaouira region. The collection covers Berber jewellery, embroidered carpets, Gnaoua instruments, and ritual objects from the local Jewish and Muslim communities. It is not a major museum, but it is the best context you will get for the things you see in the souks.
