Dar Batha is a late nineteenth-century Hispano-Moorish palace turned museum, holding one of the best collections of Moroccan arts and crafts in the country: Fez blue ceramics, carved cedar, embroidery, jewellery, astrolabes. The shaded Andalusian garden of orange trees and palms is a welcome refuge from the medina. Just outside Bab Boujeloud at the entrance to Fes el-Bali. Closed Tuesdays.
