Shared grand taxis run regularly from the Institut Agronomique stand on the northern edge of Meknes (about 45 minutes, 20–25 dirhams per seat). From Fez, the easiest option is a grand taxi via Meknes; a direct chartered taxi from Fez costs around 350 dirhams one way. There is no train station — the closest line stops at Meknes — and there is no real bus service for visitors.
In Moulay Idriss itself, taxis terminate on the main square below the zaouia. From there everything is on foot.
