Oujda is a frontier city you walk rather than tick off. The compact medina, the Grand Mosque, Bab Sidi Abdelwahab, and the central Place du 16 Août are the core. Out of the centre, Lalla Aïcha park and the spa town of Sidi Yahya make the obvious half-day excursions.
