Sefrou rewards slow walking. The medina, the Mellah, and the river gorge are all close together and best explored on foot. Outside the walls, the waterfall and the Kef el-Moumen caves give you a reason to push into the countryside. The town is most alive on Thursday, the weekly market day, when people come in from the surrounding villages.
