Taroudant has no airport or train station. The nearest airport is Agadir Al Massira, about 80 kilometres to the northwest — a taxi or shared grand taxi from Agadir takes around 90 minutes.
CTM and Supratours buses run from Agadir to Taroudant several times daily. Grand taxis (shared long-distance taxis) also make the run from Agadir's main taxi stand and are often faster and cheaper than the bus. From Marrakesh, the journey is longer — the road crosses the Tizi n'Test pass, one of the most spectacular routes in Morocco, and takes around four to five hours by car or shared taxi.
From Ouarzazate and the south, the road via Taliouine and the Tizi Makhzen pass is equally dramatic and in good condition.
