In-Gall has two faces — the quiet oasis town outside September, and the great gathering ground during the Cure Salée. Outside the festival, plan a couple of half-days for the town and the surrounding pans and groves, and a longer excursion north to the Tegidda-n-Tessoumt salt works. During the Cure Salée itself you will not see the town for the tents, camels, and crowds; plan around what you want to see of the festival, with the camel races, the Gerewol, and the market as the three set pieces.
