There is not a long list of formal sights in Borama and the day-to-day character of the city is more of a draw than any one attraction. The morning market, the campus at Amoud, and a half-day excursion to the ruins at Amud are the practical highlights. The Golis escarpment to the east is worth a walk-up at sunset.
